Residential Construction
Residential construction without the shortcuts.
LA Construction and Maintenance builds and remodels homes throughout Greater Los Angeles — from single rooms to ground-up residences. Roughly two and a half decades of residential work sits behind every project.

Positioning
High-end residential work is what we do most.
Most of what LACM builds is residential, and most of it is customized. Homeowners come to us for projects where the details are not standard — non-repeating tile, structural openings, integrated millwork, large glass, hillside sites, additions that have to read as original.
That work rewards experience. It requires trades who can execute a drawing, sequencing that anticipates conflicts, and a contractor who is willing to say early when something will not work.
It also requires a company that shows up until the end. Family owned since 2001, LACM has grown mostly through repeat clients and referrals, which only happens when projects actually finish well.

Construction Approach
Why experience changes the outcome.
01
Understand the house
How a home is built determines what is realistic. We look at structure, systems and previous work before promising outcomes.
02
Define the scope
Written, specific scope beats optimistic assumptions. Everyone should know what is included before demolition starts.
03
Build it properly
Correct substrates, correct sequencing, correct trades. The parts nobody sees determine how long the finishes last.
04
Finish completely
Punch list, closeout and follow-through. LACM does not leave a job unfinished.
Custom Craftsmanship
When the details aren't standard, experience matters.
Custom construction is where inexperience shows. Non-repeating tile layouts, structural openings, stone transitions, integrated millwork and long spans of glass all require sequencing, tolerance and trades that understand the drawing. LACM has spent more than two decades executing work that cannot be ordered out of a catalog.
