Kitchens Designed for Real Life

A kitchen is the most heavily used room in the house and the least forgiving of poor detailing. Cabinet reveals, stone seams, appliance integration, outlet placement and lighting are all visible every single day.

Kitchens

A kitchen is the most heavily used room in the house and the least forgiving of poor detailing. Cabinet reveals, stone seams, appliance integration, outlet placement and lighting are all visible every single day.

LACM builds kitchens where the craftsmanship holds up to that scrutiny. We coordinate cabinetry, stone, appliances, plumbing and lighting so the finished room works the way the household actually cooks and gathers.

Capabilities

What LACM handles

  • Custom and semi-custom cabinetry coordination
  • Islands, seating and workflow layout
  • Natural stone counters, slabs and full-height backsplashes
  • Appliance integration and panel-ready installations
  • Layered lighting — recessed, decorative and task
  • Ventilation, plumbing and electrical rough-in
  • Pantry, storage and interior fittings
  • Opening the kitchen to adjacent living and outdoor space

Process

How the work moves forward.

  1. 01

    Conversation

We start by understanding the property, the goals and how the finished space needs to work day to day.

  2. 02

    Planning & Scope

Scope, sequencing and constraints are defined clearly before construction, so decisions happen early rather than mid-project.

  3. 03

    Construction

Owner-involved construction with direct communication, coordinated trades and consistent site control.

  4. 04

    Completion

Finish work, punch list and closeout handled properly. LACM does not leave a job unfinished.

Considerations

Worth knowing early

  1. 01

Appliance selections should be made before cabinetry is built. They set dimensions, venting and electrical requirements.

  2. 02

Stone is a natural material. Slab selection and seam placement are worth reviewing in person.

  3. 03

Opening a wall between the kitchen and living space is often structural. That's routine work, but it changes scope and schedule.
